Perhaps I should point out that, as a result of the situation, I haven't bought either game whereas I might have otherwise.

If I had known that the bundle had an end, I might have either bought the bundle or perhaps have bought the first game when it was at a significant discount, but because of what looked like a permanent bundle, I figured I'd wait for a sale on the whole thing rather than buy it now. (It would not have made sense to just get the first game with the permanent bundle, but it might have if I knew the bundle were temporary and had an end date.)

Edit: By "the first game", I am, of course, referring to Alwa's Legacy.

Thanks for such a clear and honest communication! Regardless of being good or bad news – it's much appreciated.

I've played Alwa's Awakening here on GOG and for now wishlisted Alwa's Legacy. Thanks for your efforts to deliver Linux ports, bringing DRM Free builds to GOG and – first of all – for creating such a great games!

PS. I think you should ask GOG to give you a developer status, which results in fancy yellow font posts ;)

Yes, the same thing happened for me. Had I known it was a special offer I might have gone for it right then. As it was, it came across as a double pack (IIRC the first game wasn't even listed separately on the store at first).
Very nice clarification from the developer of Alwa. I'll be keeping an eye out for future releases from Elden Pixels.
