Fine then, how about this?
The cliché that the 20th century was "the most violent in history" ignores the second half of the century (and may not even be true of the first half, if one calculates violent deaths as a proportion of the world's population).

I just came here to tell people that my avatar is not my cat.

Seriously? Damn, I always thought that was your pet lion... I'm very disappointed now.

Also, I asked the sprite (graphics kind, not fairy kind because the way this thread is going you never know...) if it was ok to use him as my Avatar and he said it was fine.

Keep up the good work, this thread is highly entertaining.
Gather round, people, gather round! It's time for awesome stories.
(Yeah, I know, I'm not using this meme as it's intended to be.)
I'm sorry but did the OP call the Roman Empire and the Inquisition fiction? XD

I can't argue with that! I'm outta here! :P

I leave you with these...

Neonshuffler: You are very uneducated about history. Go read about the Khans then put your life in perspective. Khans wiped out more people % wise then anyone ever has.

making crazy declarations is persuavive or ..

even discussing or even arguing properly youren the one that needs an education

Wait, when did I start talking about the movies? XD

Oh man, I must be hallucinating conversations again.

I guess that's what I get for dropping acid and watching "The View".

You should contact PETA and see what they think.

Interestingly enough I give money to PETA and visit their page regularly (being totally serious here), and they always have pictures of animals on there. Hand to god, go look. :D Shit, not only do they have pictures of animals, they have a goddamn slide show going on so you can see 100 different pictures of animals without having to click on a link.

Here.
This is just a small part of their current home page. I count eight different pictures of animals, nine if you take into account there are two elephants in that one, and this was just part of the page; I didn't scroll down.
