Prah: I don't want Hatred here. It literally disgusts me.
avatar
AFnord: We already have proto-Hatred though. The games are quite similar in tone & target audience.
Yeah, I don't really like that game either. I did try Portal 2 though, but not really my kind of game. Might play it again just for the sake of finish it (but not until they release that god damn expansion pack).

I did not like either game either. When I was in my lower teens I liked Postal 1, but these days it just feels, well, juvenile. It has a teenagers view on what's "edgy".
And the expansion is, from what I've heard, just more of the same but worse, and "edgier".

It probably is, but I'm the kind of those people who wants to have a "complete" game experience while playing a game, which includes having all expansions and/or DLCs etc.

To be fair to Big Rigs, I'm pretty sure if the game had an extra year of development, it might have been at least halfway decent. Instead of the absolute joke butt of pretty much every gamer who has ever played it.

Klumpen0815: Is anybody here more interested in [url=http://www.gog.com/game/surgeon_simulator_2013]Simulator than in Goat Simulator?

Looking at the wishlist, I don't think so.

I guess the wishes of the community are not the crucial factor here.
I bought Surgeon Simulator and had a lot of laughs, very frustrating but funny game. Lots of funny youtube videos of it also. I got a chance to play Goat Simulator a long time ago and loved it. I've been waiting forever hoping it would come to GOG but that seems unlikely at this point, whether due to the developers not caring to release it here, or GOG not wanting it I can't really say for sure. If I had to guess though GOG probably would go for it but the developers probably arent' interested.

Goat Simulator was hilarious though, lots of fun. They've added a tonne of stuff to it since then too, plus the DLC.

grimwerk: Speaking of which, if Gothic IV comes here, I'll resent GOG terribly. Unfairly, perhaps, but terribly nonetheless.

Klumpen0815: People can get it DRM free at Shinyloot anyway:

Interesting -- it's fully DRM-free? Then why isn't it available here as well?

As for the topic of this thread: Given that people here are frequently criticizing GOG for rejecting too many games, it seems ridiculous we're now having a thread to discuss all the games we don't want here. Weird.

Personally I'm open for pretty much any genre and experimental game concept, as long as the developers invested sufficient time and effort, and it's not just some rushed cash-grab attempt.
I don't think there is a game that i don't want to be released on GOG. I mean, if i don't like it i won't buy it, but maybe others will do so who am i to say what get's released here. :P

I'm starting to feel the same way. I'll admit that I got a little annoyed when GOG doesn't seem interested in some stuff that I really like (Mushihimesama being one of them), but at this point it feels like a waste of time and energy worrying about it.
A game people don't want to be drm-free? One that they don't want GOG to receive any money for from selling? That's pretty backwards. I thought this used to be the drm-free revolution to encourage all developers and publishers to break free. Now it has become the armchair critics revolution.

Because it was turned down by GOG, along with some other Nordic games:

Clandestiny, because of the recycled puzzles from 7th Guest, 11th Hour, and other puzzle games at the time. And, it wasn't a good game.

Knight's Chase (don't remember the subtitle) One of the worst reviews in PC Gamer at the time, it was a bit of a mess. Was not good and I never finished it.

Xtreme Paintbrawl 1, Xtreme Water Sports, just most of the products with Xtreme in the title that were made by Headgames and they were bad to the bone. We're talking about a batch of games that were stupid or unplayable. Look them up if you don't believe me.

Overblood, I've some playthroughs on Youtube. Just no way on earth, I'd rather sit through a math class, and I graduated years ago.

Peril Island, bad shooter from the time Doom was the best game to copy.

The Lawnmower Man game, the CD version, it looked like a hot mess from the review I saw on Youtube.

Suspended by Infocom, I never was able to finish this text adventure. It may be the only game I really hate besides....

Clock Tower: The Struggle Within. I liked it at first when I played back years ago, but it was so boring. It was the first game in the series I had played, so I didn't know how to hide or defend myself in the game. Just bad, worst in the series of Clock Tower games.

I could name more by going through my stack of PC Gamer magazines from the 90's.
