So i just bought a game and i don't really like it, it doesn't have any issues or bugs but i'm wondering if i can get a refund for it. The page about the refund policy didn't say any thing about it and i was just wondering whats the deal with that.

Contact support. If you have downloaded the game, it is unlikely that you will get a refund, since there's no way for them to verify that you "return" the game. But contact them. They'll let you know if they can work with you.

If you have already downloaded the game you can not get a refund unless the game does not work.

gog's refund policy is ---30 days post download--- 30 days post purchase date if it's been downloaded if you've got technical problems, after support tries to resolve them for you. ---7 days no download--- 30 days from purchase date if not downloaded no questions asked.

Steam's refund policy is actually better on some fronts. as far as I know you can't refund it. if this is the first game you're requesting, and assuming it's not expensive, they might do it for you anyway as a courtesy but probably just the once. try anyway, but there's nothing in the text that says they'll do it.

edit: one more thing. gog doesn't refund individual games, only entire orders. so say if a game you buy doesn't work, and you checked that one out with a bunch of others you want to keep, you must return them all.

double edit: though that may no longer be relevant with gog's new site features and wallet system now. I am speaking from pre-Galaxy pre-storecredit experience.

Withdrawal Right: we give you the right to withdraw from a purchase of GOG content without charge and for any reason within 30 days after you bought that GOG content, IF it has not been downloaded, streamed, activated or used in any way before then. If any of those things happen then your withdrawal right is lost.
