while we're at it ...
Gabriel is supposed to not understand german. This was a problem when the game was voiced in german.
This was solved by using a bavarian dialect for the people which Gabriel was not supposed to understand.

I lived in Munich around the time when GK2 was released and the post office near the Marienplatz is not where it's shown. Also the shop for the coocoo clocks was missing at that time. Maybe there was once one, but not around the time when the game came out. Today it's mostly bars and clothing shops which you can find on that street.

According to the novel, the Knight family wrote all their books in English, even if they were Germans.
This was because of Gabriel, because they knew that some day a shadow hunter would arrive that only spoke that language and needed their diaries and notes.

The first one was Nicholas Worth (Kriminal-Kommissar Leber), he had a small part as a member of the antagonist group in S2E15 - Pirates. Somewhat weird accent-wise, since I expected him to have a german accent, but he still had a weird kind of american english accent, couldn't place it though. Much squee was had XD]The first one was Nicholas Worth (Kriminal-Kommissar Leber), he had a small part as a member of the antagonist group in S2E15 - Pirates. Ok... I know this thread is old, but I just came across it and just had to reply. I am replaying GK2 after 15 years (thanks to GOG) and having a nostalgic time-of-my-life with it. I just finished GK1 for the first time (never had it before) and I'm looking forward to replaying GK3, my all-time-favorite.

When I was playing the 3rd chapter of GK2 and saw Kriminal-Kommissar Leber again, I instantly thought:"Hey... I know that guy!". So I thought I would post it here:

Nicholas Worth has always been known to me as "Pauly": a bad-guy henchman for Mr. Durant in the 1990 movie "DARKMAN" with Liam Neeson as the main character. It was not a big role and I don't even think he had more than 2 lines in it, but his silent acting was excellent.

Just thought I'd share that.
