cbingham: Well, almost everybody speaks English in the game. If you were referring to the characters who ONLY speak English, that'd be just Gabriel, Grace, and the Smiths. That's not a lot of actors. And again, with those examples, I think the CHARACTERS might be unlikable, but I don't agree that the acting was unlikable.

If you meant that the actors who only spoke German in the game were the only ones you liked, then we definitely have to agree to disagree.

I personally felt that the worst actor in the game was the guy who did the cop that Gabriel meets the first time he goes to the police station (not Leber).
Im just saying there is a reason none of these actors went on to do much else. Dean looked like gabe but his acting was stiff and wooden, he did get better as the game went on. Grace was also bad and the direction giving to her was also awful. the two psychics were just god awful and way too cheesy

Actually, the actors who did Von Glower and Werner Huber appeared in many movies and TV shows. The actor who did Leber was in a lot of movies.

Those are over-statements that mischaracterize Gabriel.

Gabriel flirts with Grace, but he never sexually harasses her. And she frequently mocks him and rejects him for his flirting attempts (even though the game itself makes clear that she nevertheless wants him badly). The mocking proves that Grace does not see him as threatening in any way.

He didn't get Mosely killed.

He didn't do anything even remotely close to assaulting Malia at a cemetery. You are right that it is not the best place for him to try to connect with her, but on the other hand, if he didn't try right then while she was there, he might never have seen her again. So he had to try regardless of the less than ideal circumstances.

Does Gabriel do a few shady things? Yes. But he never goes anywhere near so far as the kinds of statements quoted above. So no, he is not a horrible person. But he is a flawed person.
