Sachys: Actually, I found that whilst it recognised my achievements, it did not unlock a few things that were previously unlocked. Will try a clean install to see if that helps.
Same for me. Clearing out the saves folder and starting fresh works. No need to uninstall.

Anybody else catch that?
Of course I changed Advanded to Advanced but I thought it was funny. I guess whoever made the installer was in a hurry ;)
Hahah, it appears I didn't catch that :D Well, the game shall remain in an Advanded folder then. All the same :)

Is anyone else having a problem where the game is significantly hanging (15-30 secs) right before the JUMP button turns yellow? Right after download, I noticed this happening, but inconsistently. Now it seems to be a permanent feature, no matter how many times I reboot the system/restart game. It really breaks the flow and is irritating. I'm running Windows 7.

Are you sure it's not because of the fact that the FTL drive has to charge? I too have Windows 7 at home and I never noticed the game hanging like you describe. That's not to say that it couldn't happen but it never happened for me.
