Does fallout 3 come with controller support ?

Yes. I played it with an XB360 controller.

Does it work with an Xbox 1 controller? Cannot seem to get it to work

I did not get the game, thought I will wait for summer sale. When I checked on Steam forums, there were some saying controller doesnt work. Do you have the option to enable controller in menu ?

I don't know. The game came out before the Xbox 1 existed, so I wouldn't count on it.

You have to go the "controls menu" and enable "360 controller", or at least that is what I see when I start the game with the controller plugged in.

the game has strange controller issues (360 gamepad), the action button doesn't work with at least one mod so far and the vibration can't seem to be disabled .

I never had the action button issue, but I didn't use a lot of mods.

But I had the vibration not respecting disable. I found a DLL that killed the vibration and dropped it into the game directory.

i just pulled out the little motors heh heh, i don't ever use them anyway

That is what I was going to do before I found the DLL, you can just drop it in any game directory and no more vibration for that game.

It works fine with my Xbox One controller on Windows 10. I just plugged it in with a USB-cable and it worked without having to change any settings.

Has anyone tried with a PS3/PS4 controller? I'm assuming I'd need to find some sort of drivers to use it wirelessly? Or should I just invest in one of those Logitech PC controllers?
