Hello.

First of all, saying that I'm very happy to play DRM free the complete version of DA:O. It's a game full of nostalgia, memories and my "younger self". I'm sure has aged badly but I'm quite happy to get it on sale.

I was told the GOG version was the best of all, even origins, had all DLC and had no "bullshit" with bioware servers, however I'm pretty confused.

I have installed the game, the 4gb patch and I want to install some mods... Do I need to link my bioware account? If I try to do that there's a message saying "EA servers are down". The awakening is installed but, the other content is there too? Return to orzammar? the golem? leliana's song? the armor? Is installed by default?

Do I need to install or configure something extra?

Thanks!

In principle , DA Origins from GOG should work out of the box. You should have everything available after installing the game. Yet, if you are using windows with multiple accounts, you may face some problems that had been registered on this forum at different times ( Last one by me at this link)

By the way, the 4GB patch is already applied in your GOG's copy.

Omg, I've spent the last week going crazy trying to figure out why I couldn't see the DLC, and couldn't seem to find any posts with the same issue and a resolution. Running the game as admin seems to have fixed my issues finally.

If it is it sure doesn't seem to work properly. Plenty of crashes on Denerim, which is something the patch takes care of.
