Hi all,

We have uploaded a new patch, version 1.0.74, for PCs (Mac version will be here tomorrow, we apologize for the delay.)

If you have version 1.0.57 or above of Divinity: Original Sin, please download the file named "Patch 1.0.57+ to 1.074" in order to get the latest version of the game.

The full changelog can be found here:

http://www.larian.com/forums/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=519960#Post519960

We are still waiting on the changelog for version 1.0.74 :)

We have also put up a new version of the Divinity Engine level editor in your bonus goodies :)

Thanks and have a nice day :)
Wait so now we're one version ahead of Steam?

Nothing makes sense anymore. NOTHING.

Well it surely says 1.0.74 in game.
Great news! Thanks for the update. :)
Does it mess with saved games?
English version and German version compatible?

There is no "German 1.0.57 - 1.0.74"

English only!
It seems the patch is only available if "English" is selected as "preferred installer language".

Does the installer language really matter for the patch file, or is it just a flaw in the GOG download section?

It should be showing up for all languages now. Sorry about that :)

Stellar_Duck: Does it mess with saved games?
Applied the patch, saved and loaded the game many times no problems at all so far.
Version 1.0.74 only fixed a teleport glitch.

Everything else is stated in the changelog for version 1.0.72.

It's worth to mention that there are now keybindings for toggling through the skillbars (R and F by default, changeable in the options menu) and the number of skillbars have been increased to 5 in total per character. Larian somehow forgot to add that to the changelist for version 1.0.72. ;)

I am just downloading the patch with german selected as my prefered installer version. So it should work just fine. The patch files never had the word german in them not even in the previous patch from all I can remember.
...and now we're one patch behind again.

Version 1.0.78 was just released on Steam. I hope GOG will get it soon as well since it seems to be pretty important:

- Several rare crash fixes
- Fix for newly introduced save/load issues (Mac)
- Fix for crashing on saving (Windows)

Edit: Damn, ninja'd... :P

this is getting a little bit ridiculous - every few hours a new patch is released. Better wait till September for the game to be stable.

The game is stable as hell for most gamers. Traditional downloadable patches are just not suited for PC game development and digital PC games in 2014. That's the reason why Larian wanted to use GOG Galaxy for it...
