Hippopoptimus: Hello folks. I've been having some issues with the game and I was hoping someone might be able to help me. The problem is when I boot up the game it assumes I am using a playstation controller, which I am not, instead of the mouse and keyboard setup I am using. The game will not respond to keyboard commands and the mouse pointer will not show up on screen, although I can still click on stuff. Has somebody had the same problem and been able to fix it? Or knows how to manually set up mouse and keyboard as the preferred input method?
Same issue here. I do actually have a (disconnected at the time of running) Playstation controller but even when I connect this, the game does not respond to commands on the title screen. Makes the game pretty much unusable for me in this state. I've also tried running it with DS4Windows running in the background to emulate an xbox controller and still no dice. I would actually just like to use keyboard and mouse!

Also, what is with the hex code based version numbers in GOG? How on earth are we meant to check if we are running 1.0, 1.1 or 1.2 when the version numbers are in hex? Is this the developer trying to be clever? It's annoying.

UPDATE: Running the game once as administrator seemed to fix the controller issue for me. From Galaxy, just click the config icon next to the play button, go to 'manage installation' -> 'show folder' and then right click 'Disco Elysium.exe' and choose run as administrator. After I had done this once and quit the game, I can now launch the game directly from galaxy and it will directly detect my keyboard and mouse or controller correctly.

Strom92: I have very annoying bug in game and I dont know if its pre-existing one or its regression or its introduced with new Final Cut edition because I recently bought this game and Im still playing first time.

In church after Egghead plug in AUX and Programmer Woman plaing 'something; at max volume then game stuck. No matter if I do another task and/or go back. When Ill try to proceed with the task, game it stuck (in screenshot attached you can see exact place when the game stuck)...

Please help me, I really want to finish this task before I proceed with main quest
I have the same problem. The game is stuck every time at this exact same point. I try to finish the experiment in church quest, the game zooms out and something is supposed to hapen but it never does. I can't even get to the options menu anymore and have to just manually kill the program.

Restarted, reloaded, changed some graphics and sound settings, did some other things, slept a night: nothing works.

What worked for me: play windowed, minimum resolution, lowest graphics settings. It got me past that point and then I changed everything back to normal.

This worked! I had tried windowed mode, lowest graphics settings and a slightly lower resolution without success, but setting it to the absolute lowest resolution possible did the trick. Thank you very much!!
Hit a very frustrating bug towards the end of the game during the "dreamscape" sequence. I cannot progress beyond this specific bit of text featured in the attached screenshot.

Playing the latest version of the Final Cut for OS X on an M1 Macbook under Rosetta 2.

So far it hasn't worked for me :(
After the game was updated to The Final Cut version, I can't start it. I pass through the first splash screen and then it goes on loading without end. I hope this is addressed in any of the patches, as I am not sure if all of them are available on GOG yet. In the meantime I would appreciate it if anyone has information on how to workaround this problem.
