Apparently I have the same issue. However the game worked perfectly well couple months ago and nothing have changed since that time in terms of my software. Did you find a way to fix this problem yet? I would be greatful for any information! Thank you.

Just bought the game and it doesn't work. I thought the whole point of GOG was to verify these things work? Will definately think twice before I buy anything else.

The following worked for me (either with or without verok's patch):
1. Remove or rename ddraw.dll in the install folder. (Not sure why GOG added this, it only seems to cause a crash.)
2. Run discipl2.exe in compatibility mode for Windows XP. You only need to do this the first time the game is started.

Strange, fullscreen works without the patch for me. Maybe it depends on which graphics card you have?
Direct Play is needed for network multiplayer, but not for singleplayer or hotseat.

I set the compatibility mode to Windows XP Service Pack 2, and renamed the ddraw.dll file, and it worked fine for me in full screen mode. No other patches were applied. I'm running the latest released version of Windows 10. Thanks for the suggestion! (By the way, I also have the first Disciples game, and for that one I only had to set the compatibility mode to get it to work on Windows 10.)

Solved the problem for me, Thanks a lot!
Work as expected! Tnx!
GOG wrapper work on Win10. In Disciples 2 GOG too. No special tweaks are required.
Thanks mate!

You saved my ass. It worked!

GOG, REPAIR THE GAME. IT IS NOT RUNNING WITHOUT PATCH ON WIN 10!
