UK_John: Robbiee, you'll have to let us know what OS your running, and any weird hardware/software you may be running. The fact you are having problems with so many games without lots of complaints in the various game threads does tend to point to something going on at your end.
In my experience when we get long gaps between responses I tend to believe other problems already existed and that the person has no done a rebuild of the OS or something and they are now working. Hence him not coming back for over a month.
Unfortunately, in my experience, for every person who comes back to say 'I fixed it, and this is how I did it to help others' there are 99 who don't come back when they finally fix the problem. I am not saying this is what's happened with Robbiee, but I suspect it is.

I'm running vista 64-bit, this is not a case of I don't know what I'm doing i've been into PC's since they existed. I'm not some mom or kid, this stuff just doesn't work the way it should.
I just checked in months later to see if they updated anything and clearly see they didn't and don't care.
I probably should have mentioned this earlier, but better late than never...
When dabbling in Ubuntu and Wine/CrossOver, I got the game to install and run reasonably well (the latest Wine working better than CrossOver Games 7.1.2), though the installer looked a little whacked either way. I still couldn't enable hardware acceleration (even under Windows 98 emulation mode), and I think it was CrossOver Games that had the keyboard noise and crashes, but it worked.
Oh, I almost forgot the most important part-Limb from Limb installed properly, on Linux+Wine of all things.
I haven't bothered re-downloading and re-installing DBTS recently under Vista, though-I already found a solution, and don't feel like expending the effort.

So why then, are you the only one having issues and the rest of us are up and running fine? Conspiracy?
I would say, from Robbie's way of responding, that if he does fix it, or find he made a simple mistake, he doesn't strike me as someone who will come back and admit it.
So here it is just shy of 4 months, and all the individual game threads are not reporting problems, and with Robbie not coming back he either fixed his PC in some way and the games now work, or he did something wrong installing the games and has tried again and now they work.
But if he has them working now I am fairly certain we will never see a post here from him telling us that.
