i can't save at all using the Steam version and I'm wondering if that's fixed using the GOG version.

Works without a problem here on my Gog version...when the loading screen displays after you have picked a B2/R save to load, after a few seconds a "press SPACE to continue" message displays on the page--I mention that because if you don't press the spacebar when you see that I'm guessing it will just sit there and not load the game...;) Hopefully, you aren't doing that, eh? Can't imagine something as fundamental as save not working in the Steam version. Hopefully you have verified your files with Steam and then deleted and reinstalled the Steam version if that didn't work?

At any rate, the GOG version of B2/R has no problem loading or saving that I have yet seen. Great games--hope you get it worked out...;)
Thanks for the info. The save game issue is well documented and many possible solutions are all over other forums. I just couldn't get any to work. I will pick these two games up again for sure just to play through the second.

If you're getting the "Disk Full" error message, do the following:

In your Documents folder:

- Create a folder, name it BioshockHD
- Double click into the folder
- Create a folder called Bioshock
- Double click into that folder
- Create a folder called SaveGames

Sorted the problem for me. Guessing a folder called Bioshock2 in BioshockHD will fix the other remaster as well.
