TJHuck3r: {unpteenth} Edit: Testing the "a year ago" rollback option from Galaxy.

5.5 hours later and I finally manage to get SCS v30 to install onto a BG2EE version, no errors. Hallelujah.
So, does that mean you're running patch v1.3?
Yup. Couldn't get SCS to install on 2.0+
And the game isn't worth playing without it.

The grass isn't always greener. No way to skip cutscenes. Those new 2.0 sprites (sans outlines) aren't that bad actually.

At least no silly map borders.

Another edit: SCS wouldn't install on the rolled back version. This was a clean 2.0 install from the website files (with no mod attempts) (not patched to 2.1) then 'rolled back' using Galaxy (I only bought the EE a few days ago, 1.3 wasn't on my computer before).

I uninstalled, wiped the folder. I used galaxy to reinstall straight to 1.3. Then, and only then, SCS would install.

So it looks like the 'rolled back' mash up might not be a pure 1.3 install.

Great info, thanks! Glad it works. I haven't tried yet, I'm still on an old patch of BG1, but happy to know that I'll be able to play without having to use the new patch. Also interesting to learn about stratagems, I'll have to give that a shot on a future replay
