ThatRadioGeek: You ever play D&D? Real D&D, I mean?
Sure, at college, on a desk with friends, supported with pens and papers and imagination, just like in the Stranger Things series apart of the real monster part but I found Eleven and we moved :D
Have you ever played and finished Baldurs` Gate with TotSC and Baldur`s Gate 2 with ToB or possibly Baldur`s Gate Trilogy, Icewind Dale 1&2, Planescape Torment? these games share some mechanisms, items, and stories.

If there is anything I have learned in my travels across the Planes, it is that many things may change the nature of a man. Whether regret, or love, or revenge or fear - whatever you believe can change the nature of a man, can. - The Nameless One.

Yep. My point is, D&D is turn based. Real time has no place in it. Even if you're using the active pause mechanic that's just turn based with extra steps.
