Is there a file error.log in the Albion directory ? And can you post the content of the file ?

I had this same problem, but managed to fix it! Turns out instead of "SOURCE_PATH=ALBIONCD\" in the SETUP.INI file, you need to type "SOURCE_PATH=ALBIONCD\ALBION" instead.

Hey RP1, as it happens there was an error.log with one version I had spun up but not the other, only difference being one I attempted to run without editing setup.ini. Although this turned out to be incidental.

As it happens MisterYij's suggestion has worked perfectly! Thank you MisterYij!

The readme says:
copy the content of directory cdrom:\ALBION into C:\Games\ALBION\ALBIONCD

Wasn't the problem that you copied the directory cdrom:\ALBION and not the content of it into C:\Games\ALBION\ALBIONCD ?
