I didn't realise gold medalled units would give you more xp! And only recently realised about razing zeroing movement and trap always works if it goes over.

Yeah, the formula is listed in the changelog; it looks like Silver medal gives roughly XP-and-a-half and Gold medal gives double when compared to a non-medal unit. I think the base was unchanged, at about 5XP per unit tier.

Pacifist took a hefty hit too, getting only 30% XP for a kill and being unable to make the Shrine of War or use Arenas.

Medal stat boosts got powecreeped because they're the same as in AoW1 where every stat has double the effect. (Units generally have half damage and HP compared to AoW2 and DEF/ATK increments by 10% per difference in the first game, not 5% in AoW2)

Sadly AoW2 doesn't work in quite the same way so I don't know how to edit medal stat boosts like I did in my aow1 mod.

Hey, I have been troubleshooting trying to figure out why I can't get the email wrapper linked to the game. Have shadow magic and the mod installed, but the game won't find the email it is looking for. Any suggestions? sorry for the delay :(

I installed the MOD directly into the SM folder, was I not supposed to do that?


Here's where I am at: the game file has reached my e-mail wrapper.

The shadow magic mod is up and running.

When I enter the game and try to search or load the game file, there is a disconnect where the e-mail wrapper doesn't reach the game.
