Mimo: I'll replay my turn so Jyri doesn't have to pray to the RNG gods. :)
The idea was to surprise you, now you can retreat and turtle up, and keep your magic items and preposterous defence hero. Oh well NBD. OK for me but at least don't attack sparse units around there, like the cavalry/boar - those were put there assuming the alliance working.
Mimo: In multiplayer, when you attack another human, you don't get the "These are the troops involved" notification. The battle just happens. It's a feature, not a defect. This allows you to put concealed units next to a relatively weak unit and sucker other players into attacking. A very awesome strategy that Southern falls for all the time... Book is too paranoid to fall for it anymore.
Bookwyrm627: I suspect Arnuz is talking about the "X made an alliance with Y" notification.
Yep that's it, I assumed that that happens and we bet on you missing it. But yes that's funny, I noticed how you put small goblins in cities always separate, even camouflaging them thanks to the brown background - figured that it had something to do with suckering people into attacks... So at least knowing that the surprise alliance worked was karmic ;)
Mimo: Edit: Please break the alliance before attacking my Wizard so that only one team is assaulting me at a time.
As soon as I get the turn.
