Unskippable 3 h cutscene.

Maybe the game has some good points, But unfortunately I am too old to watch 15 minutes of stupid cutscenes which you can't skip in any way. Maybe if it would be cutscenes like in Duke Nukem I could stand it. But they were not.

Not as good as New Order with dumb plot

Glad I bought it in sale as the game forces you through a 15min set of cut scenes that are not skip-able and attempt to emote the player with an anti-racist plot and a backstory of white man parent cruelty. Whilst that makes sense in a story, Wolfenstein is the last place that needs or wants a plot!!! Once you wake up in a wheel chair which can roll through submarine door hatches!! (they dont have wheel chairs in subs) Then shooting begins and its good. Technically it looks and feels solid. Just wish the software team stuck emotions into a game that requires them.

Crashes on Startup. Story meh, horde AI

Same as the other Bethesda games, the Devs do not think you have any reason to choose how to play their games except go one out of two paths. Guns are meh. Story got worse. Gameplay is worse than Wolfenstein 2009 and RTC W. You do not fear any enemies like older games do like Blood or even Ion Fury released a few years ago and Dusk. The meaning of the world is stronger in The Saboteur by EA. Choise is bigger in PS1, PS2 games and any Gamecube and previous gen Nintendo system, when the genre allows for that. Nowadays Arrows lead you to your goals same in Ubisoft games but might give the player more freedom. Story in form of letters, memos, dialogue, journals all got removed im most games which means 100%ing a game with hidden areas and loading sections which unload previous areas can be questionablely hard. Do not defend games which offer less than most early 2000s games and many 7th gen games (9th should be PS5 right?). Just get a HDMI dongle or an upscaller like RetroTink or OSSC and you are fine when most games in US-pawnshops are dirt cheap and EU about 20€ except for rarer ones and ENJOY the full game than just a press W simulator. Think! Valheim, Dusk, Ion Fury all are better than many games. No season pass. Make games which offer true level design with every area counting but still look realistic. This game ain't it same as Doom4 and 5 (2016 and Ethernal). Metro sadly ain't got it too.

Pretty damn fun

Ignoring the clowns talking about wokeness, they think minorities existing is a threat to them, and their opinions are worth less than dirt. It's Wolfenstein. It's campy, it's over the top, the gunplay is smooth, you blow shit up and blast nazis. It's a fun game, not perfect, but very fun.

Great 'final' Chapter

The New Colossus is at least near the best Nazi-parodies out there. I mean if you like The Producers or Iron Sky movies etc. you will love this!! When Frau Engel enters the scene, you are in for ride! This game - more than the previous ones- really enjoys to show off how schmuck these Nazis and their sympathizers are, when they think they are witty and funny. The Nazi-Dialogues and writing are so hilarious I'd been laughing hard half the time and the scene after the final battle is as over the top as it is great and with a satisfying ending. At the same time BJ is more humane and soft-touched than ever and it suits him, the story, the characters around him and the contrast to the war he's fighting. Though, the overall atmosphere is not nearly as bleak as in New Order or Old Blood. I like it a lot what Machine Games did to the series! Gameplay-wise W:TNC brings nothing really new to the table, actually most of the fighting and scenery seems a bit save and stepped back in scope - similar to what happened to Evil Within 2 and Dishonored 2 compared the first games - and with the map-replay-grinding for the Überkommander-elimination and side quests the game surely outstays it's welcome and then, the game expects you to play it again on the second, alternative timeline! Nevertheless, this is still a perfectly solid fun FPS with a bit of tactical depth and a great story.
