Wolfenstein® II: The New Colossus™ is the highly anticipated sequel to the critically acclaimed, Wolfenstein®: The New Order™ developed by the award-winning studio MachineGames.

An exhilarating adventure brought to life by the industry-leading id Tech® 6, Wolfenstein® II sends players to Nazi-controlled America on a mission to recruit the boldest resistance leaders left. Fight the Nazis in iconic American locations, equip an arsenal of badass guns, and unleash new abilities to blast your way through legions of Nazi soldiers in this definitive first-person shooter.

STORY:

America, 1961. Your assassination of Nazi General Deathshead was a short-lived victory. Despite the setback, the Nazis maintain their stranglehold on the world. You are BJ Blazkowicz, aka “Terror-Billy,” member of the Resistance, scourge of the Nazi empire, and humanity’s last hope for liberty. Only you have the guts, guns, and gumption to return stateside, kill every Nazi in sight, and spark the second American Revolution.

KEY FEATURES:

The Mission: Liberate America from the Nazis

Strap in for a heart-pounding journey as you fight the Nazi war machine on American soil. As BJ Blazkowicz, protect your family and friends, forge new alliances and face the demons of your troubled past as you rally pockets of resistance to overthrow the Nazi occupation.

The People: Rally the Resistance

Immerse yourself in a world brought to life by unforgettable characters who bring a new level of personality to the franchise. Reunite with your friends and fellow freedom fighters such as Anya, Caroline, Bombate, Set, Max Hass, Fergus or Wyatt, and befriend new characters such as Horton and Grace as you take on the evil Frau Engel and her Nazi army.

The Arsenal: Wield Devastating Guns and Future Tech

Blast Nazis to bits with high-tech weaponry such as the Laserkraftwerk, a multi-purpose, high-intensity laser weapon that can disintegrate enemies, or the Dieselkraftwerk, a rapid-fire, gas-powered grenade launcher that can devastate groups of enemies, or get up close and personal with advanced pistols, submachine guns, and hatchets. When you need a little more versatility, upgrade and dual-wield your favorite guns!

The Plan: Kill Every Nazi in Your Way

Everyone’s favorite pastime! Unleash your inner war hero as you annihilate Nazis in new and hyper-violent ways. Lock and load futuristic guns and discover BJ’s new set of abilities as you fight to free America. Regardless of your playstyle, invent all-new ways of stabbing, shooting, and killing Nazis.

Runs fine on Windows 8, 10 and 11

Ignore all the idiots trying to run this game on toasters, then complaining that it doesn't work.... Also ignore all the 1 star woke brigade retards. Game runs fine for me, no crashes or anything on Windows 8.1, 10 and 11.

Great game with some minor flaws

*some combat situations get pretty intense & can be hard to grind through *to many cutscenes? They cover ALL loading screens between missions/maps. I'd take cut scenes vs loading screens any day. *Most PRO-USA GAME EVER! Simply terrible

Instead of shooting some nazis, what we do instead as BJ in this game during the first 15 minutes, is learning that his father was an abusive white man who forced him to kill a dog... There are tons of good shooter games, and this is definitely not it. Even TNO was silly, with out of place narrative and ridiculous attempts at a story, which derailed players from the actual fun which was shooting nazis. This one takes the same exact formula and cranks it up to eleven. Don't bother unless you really enjoy toilet humor and woke agendas.

A worthy sequel

Wolfenstein 2 the new colossus improves near everything the new order established and dares to go further. For a great start B.J. Blazkowicz is given more character, I now felt like playing an actual human that possesses true emotions. The supportive cast is as strong as ever and the major antagonist Frau Engel is a major upgrade from Deathshead. I loved exploring the fictionalised grim future the new order set up. The new colossus seems to understand that it's world building is key to making immersion take place hence why the amount of exposure to it seems to have delightfully increased ! As an example, they went to the trouble of incorporating an alternate history version of Wolfenstein called Wolfstone. It is an entirely playable game in which instead of B.J. fighting against nazis you play as a nazi soldier fighting against resistance fighters. At it's core it is just a sprite change of the original game yet the fact they went trough the trouble of altering the game to make it logically fit in this altered history was an unexpected neat detail. The story as a whole grasped my attention as it dared to pull off a plot twist mid game that genuinely rendered me speechless. The continuity with the predecessing game is absolutely respected, a true sequel that beautifully wraps up the abrupt ending the first game initially offered to it's players. On a final note I would like to specify that the engine has been upgraded, alongside better graphics it also finally allows you to play inside the current rebooted Wolfenstein universe with as many FPS as you wish. In fact both Wolfenstein the New Colossus and The old blood were permanently locked at 60 FPS and there is gladly none of this here !

Is it still a game?

I just wanna play. There are way too much cut scenes in this game... The game flow is broken way too often and you have to sit like an idiot behind the computer waiting for the next shooting séance to start.
