Wasteland 3

Really good game! Really liked it. There minor bugs but i guess they will fix it soon.

Just finished the game. At 75 hours I felt it was well worth the money spent on it. The story was really compelling. Living in America in 2020, the Patriarch feels a bit familiar. The inventory management system needs the ability to sort by type/level/value/etc The combat felt unbalanced at times. Some fights I steamrolled the enemy, other fights were very close. I only encountered 2 bugs over the course of my game play. One was a random crash. The other was a quest I couldn't complete, because I did something out of order. Neither "broke the game" for me. All said, I enjoyed my time with Wasteland 3, and will most likely play through it again.

Awesome except the loading time which is arround 40s on a good gaming PC with an NVME Ssd. -1 stare for the loading time

I kind of think it deserves 4 stars because of the low budget production, but then I remember all the negatives... Those are: - unity engine (all unity games look the same somehow) and unity is still spying on you. - very shallow writing and "humor". - UI is very badly thought-out. Placement of the radio is atrocious, the general scale of the UI is wrong and not customizable, the dialogue texts are obscuring the minimap while the entire lower right side is empty, dialogue options show max. 3 at the time and sometimes there are up to 8 or 9 to scroll through. I could go on complaining, but it's not worth it. - character AI and pathfinding are weak (i.e they always run through hazards instead of going around them). - minimap is way too small and can not be resized, almost unusable. Graphics and sound are nice and crisp, but even then I tend to give it 2 stars. 3 is probably realistic, compared to other stuff that is available in this store.

I bought and finished the game (played 100h). My advice is to wait until the game receives a lot of patches and it's at least 50% off. Anyway, here are my thoughts in detail. Gameplay: 5/5 You have plenty of ways to build and customize your characters. The world out there is weird and dark and funny. I had plenty of laughs and i did enjoy this part of the game. Tech & Performance: 2/5 I own a high end PC and the loading times and stuttering were crazy in certain areas. I also encountered plenty of bugs, not enough to spoil my fun, but enough to put a damper on it. Story: 3/5 I'm somewhat dissapointed in the story and the ending. Compared to DOS2, this one felt a bit dry and empty. That feeling of satisfaction just wans't there.
