Warlords Battlecry 3

I don't give five stars just because my favorite is Warlord Battlecry 2, for emotional reasons. This chapter is an excellent game, only in the campaign it doesn't give me the same sensations as the predecessor.

Great game, though you're fighting deamons as your primary foe through the "story" who lack a proper counter(not that undead necromancer using undead faction didn't beat it :P). In all honesty though I found it to be quite enjoyable gameplay wise, but know that anything on the wiki is a lie(they based the whole wiki off the unofficial version which this is most certainly not...). One aspect I wish could be brought back to modern RTS is the hero carry over between campaign and skirmishes(not that you need it thanks to repeatables, but it does give you something to use them for after the campaign if you're bored of running around the map). The retinue system isn't terrible, but there's VERY limited instances of using most of your retinue since single target "gods" get mowed down by ranged when focused... which can be seen with heroes just the same, so better off being a magic user...

Excellent game this is a must buy serious cool game thanks again GOG..

I find myself coming back to this game to get re-immersed every time. The patches introduced by GOG and modders have polished it!
