Great Story!
Not too abstract in puzzle difficulty. I love it!

Good story and setting
I can reccomend this point and click, the story setting is good and relevant. The story gets better with time.

Frustrating
Gorgeous graphics and sounds, but very frustrating "puzzles".

Play this for its art and lore
The best thing about this game is its Cyberpunk art style. The color scheme is pretty vibrant and it suits the genre pretty well. The sound track is also not bad. Another strength of this game is its lore. The idea that our contemporary tech is considered as long forgotten relics in this dystopian future is pretty neat. The concept of people getting addicted to technology is the crux of this game and is depicted very well. As for gameplay, it is a point and click adventure game with some puzzles that need to be solved to progress in the game. Some of the puzzles are really creative and are satisfying once finished. But other times the game can be pretty obtuse with its puzzles that don't make sense. Sometimes one has to travel back to previously explored locations to find items which can become tedious very fast. The story mode is supposed to be better in this aspect but I opted to go with the complete mode to experience the full game. As for the point and click mechanic, there is a reason why it never went mainstream. It can become extremely tiresome to pixel hunt for items. It got to the point that I was straining my right wrist and so I had shift to my left hand for some parts of the game. To make matter worse to fast forward the dialog you'll have to constantly click for every single line. Otherwise it takes a while for the dialog to progress. Finally I'll have to talk about the story and characters. The MC Nathan is a mixed bag. While his knowledge of retro tech makes him a compelling narrator when he explains about the those stuff, he is pretty callous and unsympathetic. Even though there are many other side characters, none of them go through any kind of meaningful character arc. Just when Nathan finally does a heroic thing that had serious risks the game ends abruptly with end credits. There is an after credit scene but does not help the narrative at all. I would say it is a pretty decent game when it is available on sale for a few dollars.
