You are the Monster
Blood sustains you and empowers your vampiric Disciplines. You’ll stalk and feed on the city’s population at night. However, be cautious about breaking the Masquerade: revealing your true nature risks reprisals, starting with law enforcement and escalating from there. For me it's not a bad game, I'm enjoying it. I knew what to expect from it and that it wouldn't be like the first installment (the developer clearly communicated that). The main thing is that they fix what needs fixing. I finished the game and it was great fun from start to finish. The ability to unlock skills from different clans and combine them in combat is fantastic. I recommend unlocking the Lasombra passive skill so you don’t take damage while feeding :) Don’t be discouraged—lots of people write nonsense here because they haven’t played the game long enough or haven’t even finished it, so they don’t know what they’re talking about.

Not the best but also not the worst
This is so far the best game we got in the WOD since 21 years. Yes its not the RPG we wanted. No its not a bad game, if that game succeeds maybe a next game do it better. PS: I do enjoy this game, i can play again a good story in the WOD and that matters 2 me a lot after waiting so long for any new game in my favourite rpg.

Too much hate for not so bad game
I have played Bloodlines 2 for a couple of hours and I can say it's a good game. It's not bloodlines 1 but it's not 2004 either. I mean, It feels lika a modern game, and that's it. The devs didn't hide how the game mechenics worked before launch. Just because It's not what you wanted doesn't mean its bad. I wished It would stay more close to the character sheet and powers of the TTRPG, but with no lockpicks (as far to where I've played), no hacking, no weapon use... It doesn't make sense to have that. The down part, the game performance is horrible. I have a rig with above mininum requirement and It still stuter with low settings, there is something really wrong with the environment loading. Walking on the open world is a bad experience right now. I will wait eagerly for a fix.

Having a straight up good time
I'm about 5 hours in, and I'm really enjoying what I've seen so far. Whatever folks were expecting out of this thing, I'd say the vibes are on point, I'm finding the characters and story engaging, and so far, I think I like the feel and flow of the combat in this game more than combat in the original VtMB. To be fair: combat was pretty 'serviceable at best' in the original. Maybe I'm just crazy, but I dunno. I'm here for the story, and I'm enjoying what I got.
