Unepic

Simply the best. Awesome game. Deep exploration, deep rpg, nice sprites. It has no bugs, you will love the combat system and the final bosses, amazing ost, long, very long, and the last mission is just... perfect. Cant stop playing it over and over again.

“Unepic” is the kind of game that will draw you in and compel you to reach the next EXP level before quitting for the night. Its vast array of weaponry and spells will allow gamers of all types to find something that they truly enjoy wielding.

Many things have been said about the game itself, so I skip that for now. But I've read in a review something about not too godd controller support. Well, that is no more an issue, as the game gives you excellent controller support. There was no need for xpadder, or x360ce. During the tutorial the proper keys were not shown, but so far I managed to find out for myself... just like old times, before internet, walkthroughs and FAQ's. :)

In short words: Its like perfect mix of 8 bit platformers, 16 bit platormers, hack and slash with little bit of role playing. Mechanics are well balanced, Difficulty level is high but fair, levels are very varied (every level with unique atmosphere, enemies and weapons), There is tons of loot, spells and potions, conrols are great (i played with x360 controler), music is ok, voice acting...well not so good (i turned it off) Lot of humour (sometimes a litle bit cheese) Its a great little game, very polished and you can tell somoeone put lot of heart in it. It made me play every day to the very end. I really enjoyed it. My overall score is 9/10 among indie games.

This is a great example of an indi Metroidvania game. Great story, good mechanics, platforming feels very smooth.
