UNCHARTED™: Legacy of Thieves Collection

The game is quite good, but it still suffers from some problem's of this predecessors, for instance: - overly long battles: fighting the goons makes you feel wary, and doesn't make too much sense to have one small character (Nadine) to have an entire army behind her, I just don't buy it; - not enough enemy variance: foes variation is lacking, and they get repetitive quickly; - sometimes, it feels unfair/unbalanced: foes have an incredible aim, and even after staggering, they still shoot up with precision, it's frustrating, even worse in the hardest mode, you are showered with grenades and you're to adapt to the environment (I feel like); - clunky climbing mechanics: not much to say about it, the control feels stiff and hard to manage some times; For the port aspect of it, it runs fine, it's well optimized, which is uncommon for a PS game port, but I have to point out that I found a funny visual bug with the water: it became yellow and pink, but it was in a small scale and didn't break the game, fortunately. And finally, the good parts: - good story: in *my opinion*, not as good as the first ones, but it keeps you entertained enough to continue; - superb graphics: as I've said, it runs well enough, and enabling F-Sync to quality boosted the experience; - great voice acting; And one that I don't know where to put it: the linearity of it. I like games that are linear better, I don't feel overwhelmed with things to do, and Uncharted (the series, in general) hit a sweet spot; although, they tried to go a bit "Tomb Raid-ey" with this one, specially with the climbing tool.

This game crashes pretty bad with the GoG overlay activated. Deactivate it before launching it! But after that you'll enjoy one of the best action adventure games completly DRM-free!

It is refreshing to play some more linear game from time to time. This game has no experience points like some other games (eg. Far Cry 3) promoting certain style of gameplay, so you can change you playstyle between stealth and combat, which gives gameplay lots of guilty free diversity, One moment you are sneaky, then get discovered and guns starts shooting - it feels natural and the progression felt for me very natural and movie-like. In general it has some significant Indiana Jones and Tomb Rider vibe. Stories are interesting, locations varied and charactes have some charm. In general the games mixes very well different sections of gameplay with climing and story moments, which for me in the main campaing were a litle bit too long. Climbing is very good and there are usualy two ways to get to the same places, so it effectively creates an illusion of less linear than it really is. There are sections with driving off-road with some chase fights, which are great thanks to some degre of freedom between drivign your own car, highjacking others and shooting. The game has great graphics especialy in Madagascar and in the jungles throught both campaings. The highlight is a color palete that gives somewhat light and optimistic obveral tone. The basic campaing is more a shotter than advanture game, which is fine, although I found dlc campaing more engaging, due to small but great looking open world location with one or two side quests, more puzzles and ramping up paste and stakes in the story towards the end (great last section in the train). There is added simple lockpickig minigame with stashes containing treasures, unique weapons (silenced pistol) or ammunition. The encounters with bosses (if you can call that armoured cars with turets, helicopters and big guys with miniguns) are better design than in main game. In general if you have a free weekend and want to play and finish some good game this one will make you satisfied - time and money well spent.

Not a bad game by any means but I felt it was a lot more slower paced than the older titles. Plus the fact that things often go wrong about 70-80% of the time would have you wondering if Nathan Drake once walked through a hall of mirrors and shattered every single one of them. I guess it makes the story "more interesting" but to me it just made it more annoying and often times felt forced in order to pad out the story. To drag it on as long as humanly possible. I also felt there wasn't as much action in this one. The gun fights felt short and enemies feel more "bullet spongey". Probably to lengthen then short gun battles. The mechanics can also feel pretty clunky at times. However the graphics and visuals are stunning! Other than that, the game is lackluster to say the least. Such is life in modern gaming...

during the tutorial, aftar tarzan part crashes to desktop. running a 3060ti 64gb ram and r9 5900x.... not enjoyable. will figure a work around....
