Almost perfect, but performance...

First impression of this game was incredibly cool! Last time when i played this game when i was 7 or 8 age, also I tried to start it on my present PC, but original one can't go properly on new system. What about the game: blur adds some more realism to anims, fog is fully removed, game just exploding with colors and i can turn on/off most of new graphic stuff. But unfortunatly it's ALMOST perfect, when i loaded my save i bumped with performance issues, game started stuttering when i come closer to enemies or turning on some more graphic options. So now i'm just waiting for patch. CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 945 3GHz GPU: GTX 750 Ti 2GB GDDR5 RAM: 8GB System: Win7 I will change my rate when performance issues will be fixed

Best version of Turok 2

Better, Resolution, Shadows, Effects with added widescreen and 60+fps, fog is also removed by default, but if you enjoyed the atmoshere the fog created you can add some to the game in the options, however I think it could of been better impleamented for example a better fade in and out, the way it is currently done is you can see the level draw in and undraw through the fog too much which looks awful. There is a lot of complaints by newbies to Turok 2 about the level design and even some past fans returining to it, I personally don't find it to be an issue, maybe as I completed it over 10 times now. There was nothing new added to Turok 2 like NightDives version of ShadowMan or Turok (Turok had a level editor added) which was disappointing in that regard, and the min requirements to run this game are heavy for an old game even with all the added extras. If you played this and loved it on the N64 you will just be happy with the fps boost, but you get other graphical improvements too.

Creative and fun!

Every level has a different set of enemies, with the REPTOIDS tying the levels all together. Each level also has it's own unique look. Assets are VERY rarely reused. My only gripe is that the level design can get a little too complex for it's own good at times, but for the most part the objective markers that activate when nearby important objects does the job to signpost the mission critical items and switches.

Good nostalgia

I used to rent this game all the time, and I still remember the big cheat! It feels good to play, it's a good buy if you don't mind the outdated grafics.
