Good, but should be great
This game has a really good core loop, but it needs so many reworks and tweaks rather than the devs worrying about stuff like pets or multiplayer. Most skills you unlock are passives that you won't notice in any satisfying way, worsened by all of your EXP being locked to the slow, grindy tavern management. I don't know if it's because they're trying to not be Stardew, but it feels like a downgrade from having your skill levels tied their related actions. Tavern management's repetitive, and I think the devs understand this because at a certain point you will be hiring employees. Except employees are expensive, so either you're forced to keep their levels low or continually up the ante on ingredients which sucks when trends are cheap food. Decorating and renovating is also expensive, and repeat decor has diminishing returns so early decor will look Frankenstein'd together. Fishing's tedious. You need 5 different types of bait that will each take an inventory slot unless you know what fish you're trying for with wht bait, which requires months of farming tokens to buy the hints. Some bait requires you using fish or meat (which are important resources for your tavern), taking them to your tackle table, converting them to bait or 2-3 usage traps (that can give you trash!), and then returning to the appropriate spot to try for that fish. Did I mention the beach is very far away? Animals feel like a chore forcing you to micro-manage their water level, letting them in and out every single day, and individually filling each trough with grass feed even if you let them graze outside all day long. Again, I'm not sure if the devs are simply trying to avoid being Stardew, but there's a reason it's the gold standard for this kind of thing--because it understands what is tedium and what is engagement. Even basic bucket water sucks and forces you to manually carry and refull 20 buckets of water, some of which are for misclicking your sprinklers when you go to collect produce.

Numbers Go UP!
Managing the tavern is so fun. Creating the different Drinks and dishing, exploring, crafting, farming, modifying the building, everything is well thought out, and is captivating and motivating. Here it isn't "Just one more round" but "Just one more day" I PROMISE ONLY ONE MORE DAY!

Good, but...
... the Early Access situation is unclear. I've seen the roadmap, where last content (not talking about the multiplayer) happened a significant time ago, and the future goals are quite vague and sound more like concepts at the moment (for example - "main story" in the roadmap under "In the future" column). In general in my opinion, game in it's current state is quite unfinished and I could feel it the most at the most crucial aspect - tavern management. Workers are bugged quite a lot, they forget to come to work, or won't get the money for the room, or take the money for one night instead of two and so on (there are many more issues, not only with workers, but I don't have the space to write it here, and I know it's an early access, but this game is in EA for 4 years already and it looks like it will stay there for another 4 years at least if it were to be developed like that). A lot of game elements require QoL refactoring, because they are simply unpleasant to perform in a grindy manner, which if You would like to progress a little bit, will be required. Such actions need to be snappy, otherwise it takes the joy from repeating them in a chill game - the meditation becomes labourous. Overall I've spent quite some time there, so I consider it being a 3.5 to 4 star game at the moment. I've enjoyed the graphics the most, and the soundtrack is full of bangers playing in my head while on a stroll in the park, unfortunately there is some kind of issue with overlapping sounds in the audio layer, so sometimes music stops playing, or the worst one, while performing actions in chests in crafting areas some interference happens and it starts to make this noise like the jack is not plugged entirely (pure nightmare, never happened in any other game I played). TLDR: Has potential, but currently plagued with bugs (some of them are of the worst kind to me personally). Quite long in the early access already and in current state in my opinion will stay there for quite a while.
