Dr. Eva Rosalene and Dr. Neil Watts have rather odd jobs: they give dying people another chance to live. Literally. Using a technology that allows artificial memories to be implanted, the doctors can weave and transform the mind of a patient to help them live the life they wanted to live...
To The Moon follows Dr. Rosalene and Dr. Watts' attempt to fulfill the wishes of a dying elderly man, Johnny. In their attempt to do so, they travel deep through the man's memories, unfolding his curious life story before their eyes. With each step back in time, a new fragment of Johnny's past is revealed. As the two doctors piece together the fragmented events that spanned a lifetime, they seek to find out just why the frail old man chose his dying wish.
Johnny's last wish is, of course, to go to the moon.
Inspiring story coupled with a moving soundtrack create an emotionally engaging experience!

This piece of crap changed the language automatically to Portuguese. There is NO WAY to change the language back to English. I tried re downloading, but no results. The game doesn't have a single configuration screen. Horrible interface.
I found this game really boring. Too many too long dialogs that make you click and click again to go through the blablablas. Action itself, when you can play, is as repetitive as the piano soundtracks.
I was not addicted at all to the pathetic story that seems only written to make you produce some tears.
I lost my money and uninstall it. Can't finish it. Tired to click to read and read again, bored by the repetitive piano melodies.
This is interactive storytelling brilliance.
This may be the best story-driven game I've ever seen; one sm all plot device (the machine), and you have an incredible story.
And the soundtrack is perfect for it.
God forbid you accidentally select the wrong language option on the initial opening screen the very first time you open this game because there's no way to change it back, even after uninstalling and reinstalling, this was on the mac version.
Language options seems like a very basic thing, 1 star for incompetence, I would give this game a real rating if i'd be able to play it.
Really this "game" does not deserve a 4.x Star rating. While the story seems appealing to some people there are no game elements that make this much different from a movie. In short:
- Completely linear gameplay
- Small mini tasks, like time limited "hit the button" tasks
- Collect things
- No going back
- Nothing that makes a replay different
- No other characters
- No in-game mechanics that are worth mentioning
- Terrible controls
- Good visuals
Basically Half-Life is still more immersive than this movie. Looking at other games like Subnautica, The Long Dark this is certainly not a gem worth 4 stars. Many 5 star reviews seem Fake or at least vastly overrated.
