Dr. Eva Rosalene and Dr. Neil Watts have rather odd jobs: they give dying people another chance to live. Literally. Using a technology that allows artificial memories to be implanted, the doctors can weave and transform the mind of a patient to help them live the life they wanted to live...
To The Moon follows Dr. Rosalene and Dr. Watts' attempt to fulfill the wishes of a dying elderly man, Johnny. In their attempt to do so, they travel deep through the man's memories, unfolding his curious life story before their eyes. With each step back in time, a new fragment of Johnny's past is revealed. As the two doctors piece together the fragmented events that spanned a lifetime, they seek to find out just why the frail old man chose his dying wish.
Johnny's last wish is, of course, to go to the moon.

This is a gaming experience I doubt I will ever forget.
I tried to replay it two or three weekends earlier. About fifteen seconds into the opening cutscene my eyes brimmed with tears of remembrance and I had to stop. Amazing.
Forgot I had this game, so I played it to figure out why I bought it. Had to stop an hour in. The pixel art was nothing special, on par with default RPG Maker assets. The gameplay was bland, but would've been fine if the characters weren't painfully obnoxious. The protagonists had the comedic depth of a snarky teenager. Not the witty kind. The kind that exclusively quotes internet memes. I've played free games with better writing than this. I still don't know why I bought this game. Wait for a sale if you're still curious, but it's absolutely not worth $10.
Don't really like it. I bought it because I was curious about the story. But playing it is a pain. Seriously, I'd rather read a book. There are many obstacles you can't cross for no apparent reason, e.g. a flower, or a rope lying on the ground. The game has some funny moments, especially in the beginning. Overall, the story is not really interesting. In fact, I finished the game a week ago and I don't recall why the guy wanted to go to the moon right now. All you do in this game is walking around, pressing the spacebar when standing in front of certain objects, and solving the same kind of puzzle over and over again. The best thing about this one is the soundtrack. That's why I'm giving it two stars.
