Beautiful game that makes you cry. One of best stories I'v ever seen, not only in games. If you start playing, you have to finish it at once. Totally worth buying

Just finished this lovely gem! One of the best story ever told by a videogame. Ok there's no awesome graphics, there's a limited way to interact, few easy puzzles, a bit of exploring, but the story is so well written and the characters are so "human" that you will rush to the end. At the end, you can even...cry. If you enjoy videogames you have to play To The Moon because this is the proof that videogames can tell good stories with mature contents, excellent plot and deep characters. An absolute masterpiece. Note for older gamer (like me): If you ever played Secret of Mana or Illusion of Time (Gaia) on SNES, you'll love the 16 bit graphics, too.

this has to be one of the most beautiful games i have played in a long time with top notch story telling and a great soundtrack and it made me cry with how emotional it is the gameplay is solid as well + getting it for $3.99 was a steal :)

What an amazingly touching RPG! This one's more like a movie than a game, but an interactive one nonetheless. The story is a cross between The Butterfly Effect and Inception and the music is exceptional! It's a short game (only about 6 hours long) but well worth it. There's a reason Indie games shouldn't be discredited or ignored. ♥

To The Moon is an example of a game where the narrative is perfectly served by the mechanics, and that's something we need to see more of. The brilliant story, packed with fun characters and genuine emotion, is made easier to go through by the simplistic VN/adventure game mechanics, which stay out of the way without feeling token. That's a tough balance to pull off, but these guys did it perfectly. This should go down in the books as a perfect example of mechanics and narrative having no seams.
