Best interactive story to date.
This "game" doesn't have much game play, what it has is one amazing story: you will laugh and you will cry. The sound track is also superb.

Doesn't seem finished
What little game-play this interactive story pretty much disappears after act 1 which leaves you walking to the next destination with the rather poor controls. One very pixelated look at the the female lead and two simple but nice animations really makes me think this game is far from finished. The story was nice but predictable and the main male character only seems to be there to give wink-and-a-nudge real world references and I didn't find him likeable at all. The main female character also makes a rather pointless decision to keep the male lead out of the loop for suspense rather than anything logical. So unfortunately my main emotion while playing this was boredom.

Charming interactive book
This is a great game to play when you really just want to "play" something but don't feel like being challenged or frustrated. It's really more like an interactive book than a game, but it's certainly a page turner. I might just "read" it again!

A beautiful interactive story
As others have mentioned, this is not much of a game. It is instead an interactive story... But it's a different story, and it will gently move you a lot; like a butterfly punching you in the gut. The design, the story, and particularly the music will help achieve something you don't see every day. True, I cannot guarantee you will like it - people's tastes are different and all - but I will recommend that you at least try it.

It's an interactive movie
You can't change the resolution from 640x480, and there's a good reason. It's an interactive movie done in a retro 16-bit RPG style. It's a great example of how in the future the media we enjoy now will merge in weird and entertaining ways. It's like someone took Inception, and a couple of other sci-fi mental stories, threw in a cool slice-of-life story like you find in some graphic novels, then made the story a SNES game. Worth a look, play, and buy simply for the fact that it's something bold, new, and works.
