Time Commando

Well - it's been a while since I played this one, but I remmber it as a nice game that I actually finished. Back then I played a lot but I did not finish all of the games. The game feels lke a sci-fi version of Golden Axe with 3D elements.You can influence the camera, but there are parts where it just does not show you what is important. Like an oldschool left to right 2D action game (Double Dragon, Super Probotector or the Golden Axe I already mentioned). It is not that difficult to play, but a nice chilling thing to do. If you played it back then - buy it. If not, you might be disappointed. I love the title song of the game and still got the mp3 I made from my original CD.

In 1996, when my family decided to buy a PC, three games were given to us as gifts for the purchase: Claw, Twinsen's Odyssey and Time Commando. That was my first contact with games, even before my first video game console, a Nintendo 64. I'm so glad that GOG.com makes possible for me to replay and relieve these joyful memories... I do like games from the new generation, but they are few. Oh, well... Guess I'll be seen in the future as one of those old fashioned people who in the era of Kinect, prefers an Atari...

It's a dawm good piece of time

This game is quite simple but it's very enjoyable. Although maybe not the best experience for new players, it's good for nostaglia.

I player back in 1997 when it was released. Really epic. One of the games that i most played. The soundtrack is unforgettable!
