Thronebreaker is a single player role-playing game set in the world of The Witcher that combines narrative-driven exploration with unique puzzles and card battle mechanics.
Crafted by the developers responsible for some of the most iconic moments in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, the game spins a truly regal tale of Meve, a war-veteran and queen of two Northern Realms — Lyria and Rivia. I don't usually write game reviews, but this game exceeded my expectations by so much that I had to. I bought it on sale (-50%) and thought that this will be some casual, quick card-based game, something similar to Hearthstone adventures but based on Witcher universe. But boy oh boy I was wrong. This game is so good, the art style, music, the RPG element literally EVERYTHING in this game is so polished and fun. Hours pass by when playing this game and honestly, I can't remember any game in the last few years that would feel this way.

The battles and puzzles are appropriately challenging; requiring adequete thought to acquire a solution and once again trying to collect all the cards provides great fun! Overall, both the storyline and gameplay are fantastic, and I am very glad I bought this. Also, for those that are unsure whether it's worth it - it takes quite long to play through, especially if you're trying to get all the loot and fully explore all the areas. It's worth buying, even at full price!
The music is decent, cards and battle graphics are nice, whole game gives _the feeling_ of the Witcher world. But where was the sign "ITS A PUZZLE GAME with a bit add-on of SINGLE PLAYER GWENT".
Still, I had decent fun with solving these riddles (tp some extent) and following the plot. But this game offers too little single player gwent NORMAL BATTLES, that I expected to give me.
This game is waiting for a review. Take the first shot!
