Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales

Another great CDPR Game. Hope to see some DLCs and Expansion packs too. Story is tight and as a player i have enjoyed it from the start, like every onther Witcher game. Thank You CDPR for another great game!

I have played RPGs, CCG and MMOs for decades but this was just fun and the story is very well written. Graphically it is simple but does a wonderful job of conveying the setting and tone. The audio is top notch and really adds a nice touch. It is very fun and tells a great story. I also love that some decisions have consequences or benefits down the line as well. This is my first review on GOG and I wanted to write a review because the game is great and is a great tie-in to Gwent which is also pretty fun for a CCG.

This is a wonderfull game . RPG as it should be with all different outcomes and ways the world evolve around you. I especially like that the game is offers you grim, grey choices in what to do. I often have to hold my self back in looking on the internet what the outcomes of my choices will be. You `ll have to make very hard decisions, where non of the options are good, and you sometimes regret your choices. It`s story is an emotional rollercoaster. The only downside is the difficilty level. I started on the hardest level and still feel the game is too easy. But the atmospere makes up for it. And also, it`s a very nice price for an awesome experience :-_

I really dont expected this "cardgame"to be a real RPG, but as it turned out this game is a role-playing RPG with a card based combat. There is the fantastic puzles, there are a lot of them and each one is really unique. My only problem is, that the real card battles are really easy on hard difficulty to, but that is not a big problem for me so still 5/5. Masterpiece

Thronebreaker is a fantastic piece of story telling at its core, the game its self is a slight departure from the usual witcher games, it lends its self to strategy more than action. It takes its core mechanics from the witcher card game Gwent, which you could class as the only negative part of this game, that it is a veichle for the card game its self, but apart from that, you could not do worse than send your time and money on Thronebreaker
