Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales

Thronebreaker isn't just a card game, it's so much more: great characters, a great story, the card mechanics are full of new ideas (it's not just gwent, there are so many variations of it, i love it!), ... And that for 25€ ... Well CDPR prove once again that they are currently the best gaming company out there. Great innovative games full of passion for a fair price. Thank you very much for your hard work and keep up the fantastic work!

Simply Incredible story, filled with choices and moments so emotionally charged they lingered in the mind long hours afterwards. CD Project proves once again they are kings at video game storytelling right now, of that there is no doubt. This has only added to my hype for Cyberpunk. I detract one star because the game was just a little too easy. I'd suggest playing it on the hardest difficulty, but even that is still not hard enough.

Thronebreaker is about Queen Meve who rules two sister kingdoms of Lyria and Rivia. She has entrusted her son Villem with Lyria but upon arrival finds it in utter disarray from bandits called "The Strays of Spala". It is up to Queen Meve to clean up her son's kingdom and prepare both kingdoms for an impending war looming over their borders. This is the synopsis for the first chapter alone of a brilliantly told story about a queen and her army. If you play this game for any reason, play it for it's story. It's wonderfully told with a lot of twists that you simply will not see coming. The second reason I love this game is for the puzzles that can be found as you venture through out the map. The game's puzzles are clever and make you think outside the box. If there's one gripe I think the game is a tad too easy. That being said they are going to address this issue in a future update.

Witcher lore (which I love) and gwent gameplay (which I really like). Superb art, very well made cards. Really nice story, I thought it was subpar till the end of first map, oh boy nice turn. Great voice acting and they went up to 11 with the soundtrack for this game, dear god, so good. Very polished game, came up really well. Knew how would it play and ended up exceeding my expectations. Heres hoping they do well so the keep the games coming.
