Garrett, the Master Thief, steps out of the shadows into the City. In this treacherous place, where the Baron’s Watch spreads a rising tide of fear and oppression, his skills are the only things he can trust. Even the most cautious citizens and their best-guarded possessions are not safe from his reach.
As an uprising emerges, Garrett finds himself entangled in growing layers of conflict. Lead by Orion, the voice of the people, the tyrannized citizens will do everything they can to claim back the City from the Baron’s grasp. The revolution is inevitable. If Garrett doesn’t get involved, the streets will run red with blood and the City will tear itself apart.
Garrett never paid the price for anything… until now.

Thief: Tales From The City digital comic (EN/FR) & OST
I bought the first thief when it first came out and for a while it was my favourite game. This version of thief is definately very playable and enjoyable. I must admit that I did get a walkthrough for it, so as to get all the collectables that are sometimes hard to find. There is quite a bit more story hidden around than you might think from a short playing time. I do not understand the bad ratings, if the first version is a 5, then I cannot give this version any less.
Its easy to immersed in this game. Its a real adventure and you're at the center of all the action. I love it. It briefly takes me away from my own reality for a nice break.
Thief pleasantly surprised me – even though it’s a reboot with a new story, the game retains the atmosphere of the original titles. They revived the classic and gave it a modern control scheme, which feels smooth and natural. I really enjoyed Garrett’s fluid movement, and even though I must have picked a million pockets and drawers, it never got boring – it actually had a certain charm.
The sudden action-packed escape sequences pulled me out of the otherwise slow-paced stealth experience, which felt a bit jarring. The city is less “steampunk” than I would have liked, especially compared to the original series, but it still feels believable and atmospheric. Visually, the game holds up well even after all these years – it still manages to draw you in.
If I had to nitpick, there are a few small bugs, and one mission felt too empty – probably due to its large size and lack of enemies. Still, I’d definitely recommend Thief – it still has a lot to offer for fans of stealth gameplay.
Japanese audio Without Japanese text, how are you supposed to play if you don't know English or any other languages?
Steam and Epic have Japanese language options.
I was disappointed because I was looking forward to playing it, but it didn't live up to my expectations.
I'm so angry that I'm taking the trouble to translate this.
