Description
Thief™ II: The Metal Age gives you a chance to revisit the dark streets of the City, now changed by the Order of Mechanists, a new cult which has embraced many of the followers of the fallen religion of the Hammerites. In a world of steam robots and cameras Garrett will have to face a new opponent - Sheriff Gorman Truart, a lawman determined to rid the City of all criminals, starting with master-thief Garrett. Equipped with a new set of tools, including flash mines and scouting orbs, Garrett has to keep himself alive and unveil the secret behind Truart's actions. Starts out looking as a simple case of corruption will eventually become much more, and Garrett again finds himself a reluctant savior--but that doesn’t mean he’s not going to rob the City blind while he saves it!

pretty much like thief gold. Garett being Garett. idk but feels like npc people have not such a good hearing and eyesight as in first part

A refinement of gold
After thief the dark project and later thief gold, we got to dive back into the world of the greatest thief the world has never seen. Thief is game that has a clear playstyle, stealth, but gives you the tools and options to accomplish this game style the way you choose. Building on what made the previous game great, you have a slow paced game that rewards you for thinking, listening, reading and exploring. It does not hold your hand, does not give you way markers for missions. It expects you to observe the world around you, just like a master thief would have to. Refined gameplay and great missions make this game a joy to play even today.

Thief 2 The Metal Age Rocks!
I played this game back in the day, and it was revolutionary to be able to use 4 speakers to identify where the guards were coming from. This is one of my favorite games ever released, and it's great to see that GOG has given it the respect it deserves. If you enjoy stealth gameplay and punk themes, this game is totally worth it.
