A good way to experience an old game.
The polish and tweaks to the gameplay do it a great service, it makes the game look and feel better. There may still be some issues and a bit of a difficulty drop, but all in all it's a good game. Now if only we could get more games around this title rather than ones inspired by it.

Old school fun
Havent played the original but even though this game feels outdated, the formula works. my only complaint is that theres no point in using your bloos tests on ur squad members, the threat level of them turning into a thing is so low because theyre easy to kill, so might as well use them until they turn, other than that this game is old school shooting action you shouldnt ever miss

Great Story, Fun Gameplay
The Story in this game is very good, I still need to completed this game and I have already put in 5 hours so far (as of writing this review). Gameplay is really fun, just keep in mind , it uses old style controlling. Also love the realism on when it comes to the trust of your follow men. If you shoot your men, you lose there trust and they will start to shoot you, so don't shoot your men. Also you gain there trust by giving them weapons, ammo and even healing them etc.

Mediocre game uplifted
I did not play the original version. From what Nightdive created from it, I can see a half baked game that is now much more fun to play. Neither the story nor the gameplay reach any of the heights that horror shooters or squad based games could achieve. It is a fun romp though, if you like the movie. Don't expect to be wowed though. One playthrough took me 5 1/2h.

One of the greatest games ever made.
I loved this game on PS2 back in the day. It took an entire memory card lol. So much easier keyboard mouse on PC. Classic.
