THE KING OF FIGHTERS 2002

Although I typically don't play this type of game, it was free at the time so I jumped right in. It frustrated me to no end that I couldn't play the game with a keyboard since the controls were wonky and awkward. It was also unresponsive at times. However I come with a solution! Use a controller if you can. When you boot the game up, use the arrow keys to traverse to the game options and then using the controller press any button and game should syncronize with controller. Enjoy!

The good: - This is a great game and it's good it's available here =) - My Xbox 360 controller works fine, no extra steps needed. The neutral: - Graphics looks kinda bad in a big screen. But it's the "pure" graphics and I can imagine that some would prefer playing this way. I run this game on Mame without any filters and it looks waaaay better, probably because I use upscaling. The bad: - There's no way to remap controller buttons. And the standard config is weird. Yeah, there's only 4 buttons to memorize but their location are different from any other fighting game out there.
