Don't buy.
There's a good game somewhere inside this bad wrapper. As others say, locked controls etc. I got it for free, deleted it.

Poor emulation
KOF2002 is a good fighting game, but this port by DotEmu is lousy. Biggest complaint is probably the lack of custom controls, in addition to controller issues. However, since the game is just a shoddy emulator running a Neo Geo ROM, you can just take said ROM and run it in an emulator that functions better and offers more customization.

Problems with controls
A pity that this port does not work correctly. In essence it is fine, however, it seems to me that the emulator has compatibility problems with the controls. I inserted my control and 2 players were selected...

A nice port, but not on the keyboard
I heard about that the port is not well received, but not because it's badly done, but because you can't change the keyboard control layout. When I played it, I pretty much noticed that. Heck, it didn't even tell any Xbox 360/Xbox One controller info on which button does. I actually played the game on my Linx Vision tablet (which is a W10 tablet that has a special controller dock) and I was surprised that the game worked out well. I didn't use the keyboard because, well, tablets don't have physical keyboards. On the bright side, I was actually able to play it, since it has native controller support. Not to mention it ran surprisingly well on the Linx Tablet, the device I played the game on. As for the game itself, it was actually decent... if a bit hard for anyone who isn't familiar with either the genre or The King Of Fighters series. Nice roster, nice balance and I actually enjoyed the game. All in all, it's a nice port of a NEOGEO classic... as long as you play it with an Xbox 360 controller or Xbox One controller, since you can't change keyboard controls. If DotEmu could update the port to add the keyboard mapping settings, the review rating would be better. If you like fighting games, this is perhaps a good game for you, provided you have a controller. Otherwise, maybe you should perhaps wait for a discount or leave it and get its predecessor.
