A sci-fi walking simulator
If you like walking simulator, you're in for a great experience. The story was really compelling and you're plunged directly into it, with enough mystery to directly feel intrigued. With its two factions" and how they are depicted, this game reminded me of "South Of The Circle", another great game in the same genre. Finally, the graphics are good, even though the game seemed to not like being installed on a HDD.

A Retro-Sci-Fi Odyssey Worth Exploring
The Invincible, inspired by Stanisław Lem’s classic sci-fi novel, is a superb narrative-driven adventure that cleverly disguises itself at first as a walking simulator—only to unfurl into something far richer and more gripping. Set against a beautifully stylized 1960s retro-futurist aesthetic, the game places you on the mysterious planet Regis III, where scientific curiosity soon turns into a tense survival tale. The visual tone—sleek analog tech and cosmic landscapes—feels like stepping into an era where space exploration was still a romantic, dangerous dream. Branching Storyline: Choices matter. You shape your journey through dialogue and decisions that alter events and uncover different philosophical layers. Atmosphere: Every detail—from the dusty terrain to the humming equipment—immerses you in a world both haunting and hypnotic. Protagonist Charm: Yasna, the main character, is smart, relatable, and deeply human. Her reactions and inner thoughts ground the story emotionally. Narrative Depth: Thoughtfully written with echoes of Lem’s existential themes—like humanity vs. technology—woven into suspenseful gameplay beats. Pacing & Gameplay: It blends exploration, puzzle-solving, and slow-burn tension. Don’t expect frantic combat, but do prepare for psychological drama and philosophical intrigue. Think of it as a playable sci-fi film that leans into mystery, moral ambiguity, and eerie wonder.

Unforgettable but not perfect
The story and its telling is almost perfect and definitely unforgettable. Sole reason for 4/5 is because there are some noticable visual bugs and it's clear that the point of the game is not flawless or top of the line gameplay however it more than delivers in the context of what it wants to do/be - a storytelling game. Never heard of the novels but I will definitely have a go at them now.

Simply wonderful, yet not without bugs
If you're looking for a space opera experience, you're in the wrong neighboorhood. This is unfiltered Lem: here we consider the limits of human understanding, of human reason. What would really happen if we were stranded in another planet? How would we try to make out what is happening, what happened? How did we get there and how would we resolve conflict between our factions? Hardly the setting or plot for something as peple pleasing as Star Trek. This is what this game tries to portray. No easy task, yet a commendable one to embark in. There are considerations as to some bugs being found in game. I myself fell off into the void at some point, but nothing that a quick load woudln't fix. Really great experience. This is the Sci-Fi that matters.
