Tex Murphy: Overseer

Tex Murphy: OverSeer is the final (hope dies last) game of the Tex series and actually is a remake of the first game. You see dear Tex finally got a serious date with Chelse (the girl from Pandora's Directive) and he's recounting the events of Mean Streets to her (yeah Tex you'r e a hero alright!). To be fair Overseer stays true only to the story of Mean Streets, apart from that the game is a "rich" adventure which combines 3D graphics with FMV (the last of its kind as far as I can remember) and has all the elements that made Pandora's Directive THE BEST adventure of all time. Don't get me wrong the game is a great succesor but my original copy was *^*%^%#^%@$ buggy (that's why the four stars), literally I was saving every minute and that ruined the whole experience. I hope GOG has solved these issues with the installed patch. The end of the game promises that there will be a cotninue but Access is no more :(. Will we ever learn what happened to Tex?

why this is nt DVD version?

The video quality of the DVD version is markedly better. Why did GOG decide to adapt the CD version instead?

Please make it run on Windows 10 (64-bit) !!! You did it well with other games. Rise the price if is need it. I don't want my money back, because I want to have and to play the entire collection.

Ok so I spent hours. trying to get the game working on windows 10. I finally did so I thought I'd leave a post here and save people the frustration (But trust me it does work) First do not install ffshow that will just cause the game to crash to desktop. instead, after doing a clean install (use the gog offline installer not gog galaxy) don't download any codec.packs most guides tell you to use., set compatibility mode to windows vista. service pack 2. and uncheck run as aministrator - also at the ffshow prompt - pick run once. Done.. fmv movies play fine and the music will be fine. You will still need dgvoodo to get rid of the graphic glitches - just look up how to do this and set res as your desktop ex 1920 x 1080. This is based on the MPEG2 driver error. Now you can finish the final OG Tex chapter and move on to Tesla. Thanks to ya boi Senshock.
