Title says it all, many classes to play as, encounters, a lot to keep it fresh

First review on gog, I just wanted to put it out there since all the reviews I can see are early access and they are mostly negative. The game is a great experience, very interesting classes that give replayability, nice art all around, voice acting, even the stories are interesting and I definitely wasnt expecting that from a game like this. This is an amazing game and the price is nothing compared to what it offers.

Its a real hidden gem. I wasnt expecting much because usually digital adaptations of board games are not that great as a video games, but this one (and Root) are absolutely amazing. Graphic and animations are good, music is atmospheric, world is interesting and gameplay is highly addictive. Dont forget to try different classes! Side note: it really reminds Etherlords. Good old days!

Never heard of the board game, so it's entirely based on the game itself. I've got an hour and a half into the game, and I can already tell I'm going to love it. I don't like Grim Dark things often. The story campaign teaser is absolutely lovely. There's a plot that gripped me within twenty minutes, and I want to see everywhere it'll go. There's not much more to the Campaign beyond that story right now, though, and it is very easy to complete. The narration is nearly fully voiced, and they do a wondrous job with making things clearly understandable. The dialogue all sound like different people talking, instead of bland scripting that feels like the same person doing everything. There's a good bit of puzzle-strategy to everything with level ups, passives, runes, and the deck building. I'm really looking forward to how and what they'll do to expand it beyond one or two playstyles. The background music is there, ranging from relaxing to ominous to spine chilling. Quite fitting for the game's atmosphere.

If you are a fan of Deck Building and Roguelites then this game is for you: Interesting concept of the game world and great storytelling with many different deck possiblities. Very cool game and appearantly the devs are still working on DLCs and Addons which is good news. Looking forward to seeing more. Only minor negative aspect of the game is the "grind"(and maybe addition^^). But well this is for completionists, so no worries for the people who just want to have fun from time to time. For a couple of fun runs this is perfect.
