SWAT 4: Gold Edition

Never played this before but gave it a try and glad I did. Awesome game. It worked great with my quad core paired with gtx 750ti card. Simple game, good graphics, very immersive. Highly recommend.

One if not the best tactical shooter that came to existence. The game is centered around teamwork towards a.i threats and easily run on modern hardware. also note that the game is playble in LAN

Best tactical shooter

I fell in love with this game the moment I started playing. You get to become a SWAT team leader, whose choices can change the outcome of the breach. This game can and will be brutal with the difficulty, but that adds to the experience. The graphics were way ahead of their time and still hold up today. It's not a direct recreation of a SWAT member's day, but it's close enough for you to feel immersed and focused. There are also specific rules of engagement that make the game more than just a first-person shooter. Firing a bullet is one of the last things you want to do to keep the final score as high as possible. Ready or Not is based on SWAT 4. While it has better graphics and maybe even overall gameplay, the fourth part of the Police Quest series is the best for people who want a bit of nostalgia, more FPS action, or most importantly, more space on the disk.
