The Stanley Parable and Portal mix
- Short, - repeated puzzles, - copies narrators from both TSP and Portal AT THE SAME TIME, - tries to be enlightning and fails, - elevator-like music + there are some fine puzzles, but few and far between, + simple, so good for people who are just starting with puzzle games?

Disappointed actually.
I haven't finished yet but I'm starting to get really bored with the game. Everything feels like it is severely lacking in polish. From the graphics to the story and gameplay. The mechanics actually get boring quickly as the puzzles are extremely simple. The maps are repetitive. There are numerous bugs. Many times I fall through the floor for no reason or portals don't work. As the game story is built around the idea of glitches it took me a moment to realize the game was broke and I had to revert to a checkpoint. It's a great idea that borrows some ideas from Portal but it feels more like a proof of concept than anything like a finished game. It needs more playtesting, an artist, a writer, and a puzzle designer.

Curiouser and curiouser!
Even though Superliminal certainly reminded me of the Stanley Parable and Portal, it has very own special charm, and very peculiar mechanics and puzzles that change from one level to another. In the second half, it felt more and more like Alice in Wonderland, with an endless falling down the rabbit hole and with absurd but understandable logic - and it was so admirable! I enjoyed Superliminal very much, with its clever storytelling, surprising puzzles, and with pretty strong emotions that it brought.
