Nice puzzle game

Subject 13 is a good game chock full of puzzles. I was able to use my mouse only for gameplay. One review mentioned that an area was inaccessible with the mouse but sometimes one can hold the right button down and pan the view. There were a few areas during gameplay that froze up but one only needs to access the main menu and then choose to replay/continue ones game.

Nice but damn,,,

Loved the intial setup, nice mystery and the story was great but the late orb puzzle killed the pace dead along with the puzzle that followed, consequently ended up on my pc 5 months longer than it should of by which time I forgot the story points so the ending was abit lost on me but overall good puzzles minus the old school crypticnous at times.

Enjoyable but not memorable

Subject 13 sits somewhere between Omni3D games and Scumm games. I was pleasantly surprised by the interface, which is generally better than both. Generally, I enjoyed this game. Story and acting are decent enough, graphics and interface are pretty good, and the puzzles are generally fun. I have encountered a few bugs though, which made things a bit annoying. This, plus the shortness of the game and the insane length of the final puzzle, worsen a bit what is still an enjoyable point-and-click.

Glitches

The main flaw: Glitches. Although there is a patch to fix this, items still do not always work properly. I have reached a point that cannot be progressed past, despite having the correct answer to the puzzle. (I looked up multiple walkthroughs online to make sure that the solution was correct.) The patch is supposed to prevent this sort of problem, from what I hear. But even those walkthroughs admit that the patch does not always work. So for me, there's a 2-star review.

Good game with some issues...

Subject 13 is an interesting point n click adventure. It's a typical 3D point n click adventure in the style of Syberia or other similiar games, it keeps that charm while having more logical puzzles due to its newer age. The gameplay is good, although interacting with things might feel a bit clunky at first due to how the interaction menu is laid out. The story is pretty basic but at the same time intriguing, you do want to know what's going on after all. The character is neither likeable or dislikeable, he's quite boring I suppose. The ending opens up for a possibility that we didn't get to know everything that was fully going on... perhaps building up for a sequel in the future? So I said the puzzles were okay right? They were, until the final bullshit which is mine sweeper. If you hate mine sweeper, congrats you will hate this too. Eitherway, recommended for fans of the genre!
