Plunge into the depths of STASIS: BONE TOTEM, the latest installment in the STASIS anthology.
A new story, new characters, and a new underwater environment to explore.
Follow Mac and Charlie, a husband and wife duo, who make their living scouring the ocean for salvage. But, when they stumble upon an abandoned oil rig in the Pacific Ocean, they uncover a horrific secret that Cayne Corporation will do anything to keep hidden.
As you embark on your adventure playing Mac, Charlie, and their trusty Super-Toy, Moses, you'll encounter an immersive narrative filled with spine-tingling horror and unexpected twists. Combining the thrilling storytelling of STASIS and a tense underwater setting, STASIS: BONE TOTEM offers a personal story that will test the limits of family resilience.
Navigate through a massive underwater base, complete intricate puzzles, and solve an ancient secret concealed at the bottom of the ocean. BONE TOTEM features the same isometric, point-and-click gameplay that made STASIS a classic fan favorite, but with a new cast and a unique setting that will leave you gasping for breath.
With stunning visuals, a music score by Mark Morgan, a screenplay written by a Hollywood ace, voice acting by veteran actors, and a gripping storyline that will keep you on the edge of your seat - STASIS: BONE TOTEM is a must-play game for horror and sci-fi adventure fans.
So what are you waiting for? Dive into the unknown and uncover the BONE TOTEM beneath the waves.
Perhaps the best point and click adventure game I have ever played. The graphics, the story, music, sound design. Everything is top notch and I am in disbeliev that a someone put all of this together.
And as a bonus the puzzle gameplay hits the perfect spot between easy and mad men logic. 10/10
Interesting plot and premise, some very interesting and touching story beats near the end.
I'm less enthusiastic about the puzzles, however.
In short, your characters quickly get separated and you have to keep track of each of their areas' puzzles simultaneously. I'm sure point'n click aficianados won't have much trouble with it, but i quickly decided to keep a walkthrough on constant standby.
Lastly, i felt the game's reliance on AI generated assets (even post-patch) somewhat cheapens the art direction and i hope the devs drop it for their future projects.
How do you even begin to describe the most beautiful experience of your life? The sights you see are unmatched horror, the only thing that comes close is the harshness of the game without hints. You will find a story of... redemption. This is a game to be loved, 100% accurate prediction. My Mac-Charlie-Moses. In the end you found.... Hope.
Hi, I was a huge huge fan of STATIS I and CAYNE, and could not wait to get my hands on STASIS sequel but at the end i did not like it, I just wanted to finish it finally and to get over it, actually I have stopped it playing around 60-70% for a month and then return to get the job done practically without enjoyment.
I really appreciate the brothers and their work, and was supporting them for STASIS and Beautiful Desolation (which i find very brilliant game), and was looking forward to Stasis bone totem very much, on first day i have downloaded it from GOG and started playing but.....
The game does not feel like the original STASIS and CAYNE, something is not right, and I don't feel the connection to original titles, this feels like new game and I didn't like it, for me it was very tiresome to got through everything, the whole moving part was very difficult and clunky you always have to ping where are you going, and then you get a huge amount of pings of things you can just read and not interact with, and everything is to dark you don't see the whole sections of map only part where you move, for me was very tiresome and claustrophobic experience and a lot of scenes you could not see clearly what is what, i did not like it, I wish I could zoom more clearly on a lot of rooms and bodies and different machines.
Terminals where tiresome also with huge amount of pictures with no real purpose, PDAs also with huge amount of reading material 98% useless stuff, I got tired reading those just wanted to end those....
Dialogs where also tiresome, especially at the end I kept pressing letter T it was so annoying, the general feel how you play the game was very bad for me.
Some of the good stuff is use of inventory and beautiful art of different thingies, descriptions and abilities of Charlie and Mac, personaly i did not like the Bear it was tiresome and repeating in his dialogs. The close up puzzles art was beautiful, and a lot of work was done on lot of details.
While some of the story can be a bit on the nose with its themes, it is by far one of the most well implemented point and click adventures I've ever played. The pacing is excellent and while I can point to many of the things this story pulls from, it is so well put together it stands strong on its own. I feel the last few minutes of the game are a little weak but that hardly detracts compared to the whole experience.
