May the force be with you

This game is so nice. I used play this game as a child and it was amazing to literaly feel the speed. Shortcuts. Changing envirnoment. Nice Sound and Soundtrack. When i was a child it was the perfect game, because i played it for long time and it challenged me. Today still beautyful to see it and makes a lot of fun, but not realy a challenge anymore. Took me 3 hours to complete the game. Always first try to win. Game crashed two times while reward screen. All in all for this small amount its an nice variety and everbody should play this game even once.

My first computer game - superb fun

Perfect nostalgic fun. Honestly, this was my first ever boxed computer game (it came in one of those wonderful big boxes we used to see) at the age of 10, a massive influence on me growing up. The amazing variety of tracks (still better then any other racing game in my honest opinion), the huge variety of racers (Ebe Endecott for life) and the superb soundtrack from John Williams. Do not miss this, thank you GOG for bringing this back - worked straight away after download, no fiddling in options required and no issues as of yet. Such a blast from the past

As good as you remember, maybe better

Fast arcade racing with those perfect RPG-lite elements of pod upgrades. It runs beautifully, silky smooth - as it should be on any PC from the last 15 years - and best of all, it has really strong controller support. Using an Xbox 360 pad will full analog throttle, brakes, and steering feels even better than I remember it on the N64. If you have any fond memories of this, pick it up, it's so very worth it.

A top notch racer indeed

I have fond memories of all the hours I spent playing this game on my brother's Dreamcast. I still own a CD with the game for computer (which I couldn't afford at the time). This is a great addition to the collection of LucasArts games collecion. It is super responsive, and one of the few racers that makes you feel like you are really going at amazing speeds. Don't get mne wrong, many games have perfected this formula since Pod Racer was released, but the locals, the music and how well this game plays, is a testament to the strong foundations LucasArts built into this game. I wished it was a little harder and a little longher, but this is the exact same game I rememberr from my youth. Of course I am wirshing a modder creates high texturas for this game or that the cinematics were not so small on a Full HD screen, but I can't complain since this is the exact same game I remember playing back in the days.
